About YouthConnekt Africa Summit

The YouthConnekt Africa Summit is the largest youth gathering on the continent, convening an average of 6,000 young Africans each year. First launched in Rwanda in 2017 as an initiative of H.E. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, the Summit has grown into a continental platform that champions youth empowerment and collaboration.

It serves as a unique space for direct dialogue between policymakers, private-sector leaders, development partners, influential figures in arts and culture, and Africa’s youth on issues of shared interest. Through these conversations, exchanges, and networking opportunities, the Summit ignites new momentum, initiatives, and partnershipsand, above all, renews the collective ambition to position African youth as the driving force behind the continent’s transformation.
