YouthConnekt Africa was born out of the need to bridge the gap between Africa’s youthful potential and the opportunities needed to unlock it. We exist to connect, empower, and engage youth across the continent—fueling innovation, employment, leadership, and inclusive development.
We create scalable, youth-led initiatives that bring solutions closer to communities, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and shared resources. Through communities of practice across Africa, we empower young people with the tools, mentorship, and opportunities needed to drive innovation, sustainability, and social transformation, ensuring long-term impact in leadership, employment, and entrepreneurship.
YCA facilitates inclusive, youth-centered dialogues that shape national and continental policies. We collaborate with governments to develop youth-friendly policies and ensure that young people are actively involved in decision-making processes. By amplifying youth voices, we drive policies that address their needs, promote leadership, and create sustainable opportunities for Africa’s next generation.
Through national chapters and regional networks, we implement tailored programs that empower youth in entrepreneurship, skills development, civic engagement, and employment. Designed for scale and impact, our initiatives equip young people with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities to drive change.
