Technical and Long-Term

Capacity Building Assistance

YCA Hub provides technical and capacity building assistance to its partner YouthConnekt initiatives to positively impact the youth development ecosystem in partner countries. Any YCA national programme can seek technical advice or assistance to address challenges or overcome gaps. The Hub is aiming to develop specialized advisors at the regional level to provide in-country technical support where and when required. The Hub works in a multi-stakeholder environment and liaises with different development partners to avoid duplication of efforts and initiatives. However, it also supports building initiatives under YouthConnekt that are aligned with national priorities and youth development needs of a specific country.

Practice-Based

South-South Cooperation

YCA Hub aims to promote sustainable human development by sharing good practices, policies, initiatives, programs, and models at the regional level to improve productivity, create decent jobs, fight poverty, and educate young people to contribute positively to national development. Through the YCA network, partnerships will be forged among national YCA initiatives to learn, replicate, and implement relevant good practices and initiatives that improve the lives of young people. In addition, Hub has a strong knowledge management component to compile, synthesize, and consolidate local solutions and practices and develop valuable knowledge and information products. It promotes local actions and solutions for addressing local development challenges by showcasing best practices at the annual YouthConnekt Summits.
